One of the accessories that PDA users most frequently use is their stylus. On PDAs without a keyboard the stylus is the basic method of text input. Most PDA users are satisfied with the plain stylus that comes with the PDA, but there are many other styli options that provide better comfort, usability, and also help to improve text recognition.

StylusPlus.com is a company that offers a multitude of replacement multi-function styli. These styli range from simple two-function styli to the popular 4 function styli allowing the user three writing tips in addition to the stylus tip.

For the purposes of this review I was given a 4-Way original without pencil, a 4-Way Wood with pencil, and a 2-Way metal stylus. The two 4-way styli shipped in wood grained gift boxes - perfect if purchasing the stylus as a gift.

2-Way Metal Stylus Impressions
The 2-Way Metal Stylus that I received has an orange stylus tip and a black ball point pen. The stylus is operated by rotating its barrel. Rotating the pen to the left releases one of the tips, and rotating it in the operation released the other tip.

Pros: The 2-Way Metal stylus that I received had a cushioned rubber grip for increased comfort. Although the stylus feels very sturdy it is incredibly light. The light weight is ideal if you're going to place the pen in a shirt pocket. The 2-Way stylus has a regular price of $9.99. I feel that it is a great deal.
Cons: The only problem that I had with the 2-Way Metal stylus is that the tips didn't come out in any regular pattern. If both tips were retracted and I pulled the pen out of my bag there was no way of knowing which way to rotate the barrel to get the desired tip. Sometimes a turn to the left would release the stylus, other times it would give me the pen tip.
