DreamQuest Releases Aussie Card Game

DreamQuest Software has launched a new card game, Championship 500, for Windows, Palm OS and Pocket PC handhelds and Cell Phones. Championship is an Australian card game that offers game-play against computerized opponents or a real person, as well as over a LAN, Internet or wireless connection.

The game is the latest addition to the Championship-series card games by DreamQuest Software. The company said it allows players to choose from five difficulty levels, dozens of variations, and eight customizable players to sharpen their skills.

"500 will intrigue Spades, Euchre, and Bridge players alike," said Christopher Williamson, DreamQuest Software's president and CEO. "It offers all the elements of a great card game: it’s easy to learn, offers partnership play, interesting strategy, and long-term addictiveness."

According to DreamQuest Software, beginners will enjoy hint, undo, replay, and other practice features along with the introductory tutorials, while expert players will appreciate the wide range of statistics and how the eight different opponents adapt and use advanced strategies. Each game includes over 200 polished deck and table combinations along with hundreds of sounds. Custom skins allow players to share favorite themes.
