Tune Into FM Radio with iBIZ's Pocket Radio Card

iBIZ Technology today announced what it is calling the PDA industry's first compact flash (CF) type 1, FM radio.

The company said the Pocket Radio Card converts PDAs with CF slots into FM tuners, giving users up to 18 preset stations as well as search and seek functions. The radio's frequency range is 88MHz to 10MHz, it has soft mute and volume adjustment, and a pair of headphones is included in the package.

According to the iBIZ website, supported PDAs include Hewlett-Packard's iPAQ 31xx, 36xx, 37xx, 38xx Series and Jornada 560 Series, UR There @migo - 600C, CASIO Cassiopeia E-200, NEC Mobil Pro P300, and the Toshiba Genio e550. As of writing, the company hadn't released pricing or availability information.
