By PocketPC City Staff
HandStory has made available HandStory Suite Pocket PC Edition, the first version of its multifunction productivity tool for Palm OS/Windows to support Pocket PCs. HandStory Browser for Pocket PC incorporates multiple features such as a Text/eBook reader, an Image viewer, and a Web Clip browser. HandStory Converter for Windows is a converter of texts, images, and Web information. With HandStory Converter, the company said the user can convert and save files directly into the extended memory card, such as an SD or a CompactFlash card. If the Pocket PC device is not on the cradle at the time of conversion, HandStory stores the file in a temporary storage space in the PC; the file will be transferred the next time the Pocket PC is on the cradle. The user can crop and preview an image before converting it with HandStory Converter. This enables the user to select and convert only the portion that she wants to save in her Pocket PC. With the Web clipping feature, HandStory said users can automate a daily Clip update function to have freshly updated information from the Internet on Pocket PCs. HandStory Suite 2.2 is available for $19.95 for a single-user license. The company is currently offering a promotional discount of 25% off. Related Links:
