Danger Selects Messaging Platform For Hiptop Wireless Solution

Danger, whose development platform is the basis for the T-Mobile Sidekick device, has selected Stalker Software's CommuniGate Pro to provide a messaging infrastructure for its hiptop wireless solution.

The company said that with CommuniGate Pro's messaging platform, hiptop devices can connect to wireless networks, providing consumers the freedom to browse the Internet, exchange instant messages and send and receive e-mail on an affordable device. T-Mobile and Danger launched the first hiptop-enabled device, the Sidekick, in October.
