Digital map vendor Navigation Technologies' NAVTECH map data is slated to be used in Navman's PDA-based application for transforming Hewlett-Packard's iPAQ Pocket PC into a self-contained navigation system. In addition to using NAVTECH digital maps, Navman said it tapped NAVTECH Professional Services (NPS) to assist with product development and implementation, as NPS engineers traveled to Navman's New Zealand headquarters to support Navman engineers in the creation of a new data conversion process.
