Acrobat Reader for Symbian OS

By James Miller
December 11, 2002

In August, Adobe announced the public beta of Acrobat Reader for Symbian OS. The product is now out of beta and is available for download from the Adobe website.

The software gives users the ability to view Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on data-enabled mobile phones, and, according to Adobe, builds on the company's vision to drive delivery of compelling content to all devices and platforms.

Acrobat Reader has already been available for Palm OS and Pocket PC handheld computers. This latest Acrobat Reader product is initially offered for the Nokia 9290 Communicator and Nokia 9210 Communicator.
