AppForge, Inc. is currently seeking qualified beta testers for its MobileVB version 4.0 product. MobileVB 4.0 is slated to provide support for Nokia Series 60, including Nokia 7650 (European) and 3650 (U.S.) phones. For more information, applicants should visit the AppForge website.
The Series 60 is a software platform for smartphones that Nokia licenses to mobile handset manufacturers. It consists of telephony and personal information management applications, browser and messaging clients, as well as a modifiable user interface. The company said Series 60 is optimized to run on top of the Symbian OS. Series 60 licensees include Matsushita, Samsung, Siemens and Nokia.
