Thomson MICROMEDEX is making its handheld product, mobileMICROMEDEX, available to Pocket PC devices. mobileMICROMEDEX provides information on drugs, toxicology, alternative medicine, and acute care to physicians on their hand-held device choice.

In addition to expanding availability to Pocket PCs, MICROMEDEX said it reduced the application size to 3.5 MB for the Palm OS version of mobileMICROMEDEX. mobileMICROMEDEX is free for all current MICROMEDEX's Healthcare Series customers.
