Belkin to Ship 802.11b PocketPC Card

Belkin today introduced its 802.11b Wireless Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Network Card, which is slated to be available on May 15th for $119.99.

According to the company, the Belkin Wireless PDA Card provides a user's PDA with the ability to access a network wirelessly for Internet and file sharing with all connected devices. With 64-bit or 128-bit WEP encryption, Belkin said users are assured of secure transfers between their PDA and the network.

The Card slides into any Windows CE/PocketPC device with a CompactFlash II expansion slot to enable a wireless connection to a network. Interoperable with all 802.11b-compliant wireless devices, it uses the wireless Ethernet standard and offers users a working range of up to 490 feet outdoors and 160 feet indoors, with speeds of up to 11Mbps.
