SanDisk Corporation has introduced its first combination software and flash memory expansion card for Palm OS devices -- a 32 MB Secure Digital (SD) card pre-loaded with the BackupBuddy VFS software application from Blue Nomad Inc..

The combination of BackupBuddy VFS and the 32 MB SD card will allows Palm OS devices with an SD slot to backup, store and encrypt their data on the SD card with the touch of one button. The 32MB SD Expansion Card will be sold under the SanDisk label and will be priced at $49.99. It is initially available on SanDisk's website with retail availability to come later.
