Handango, a publisher of mobile software, today launched what it calls a multi-tiered strategy to jumpstart development and sales of mobile and multi-player games for handhelds of all types. The company said gaming enthusiasts can now find mobile games at a new game specific website and subscribe to a new newsletter dedicated games.

In addition, Handango also announced that it has signed a development and distribution partnership with Pixel Technologies, an online multi-user games and technology company. Under terms of the alliance, Handango said it will work with its 8,000 Handango Software Partners to create multi-player games and interactive applications using Pixel's JIVE platform for multi-player gaming on Pocket PC, Palm OS, Symbian and Java handsets.
