iAnywhere Solutions Updates Mobile Mail Product

iAnywhere Solutions, today announced Mail Anywhere Studio, the next generation of iAnywhere Mobile Mail, which provides always available access to enterprise e-mail, calendar, contact and task information from mobile devices.

iAnwhere said Mail Anywhere Studio provides direct, server-based synchronization via wireless, dial-up or cradle to a variety of handheld devices running Palm, Pocket PC, or Symbian operating systems. According to the company, new product features include:

For Mobile Workers:
· AutoSync: enables any Palm or Pocket PC-based device to automatically invoke synchronization, removing the need for manual synchronization to provide a more desktop-like experience.
· AutoDelivery: provides real-time e-mail access by automatically pushing enterprise e-mail messages to always-on, always-listening wireless devices such as the Palm i705.
· Customizable Client Profiles: for handling multiple synchronization options, controlling the amount and type of information that is synchronized based on connection method (wireless public network, wireless LAN, wired network, etc.).
· Enhanced Attachment Support: new Palm mail client provides ability to receive, view and forward attachments as well as accept meeting requests.

For IT Administrators:
· New Security Model: provides encryption for data delivery inside and outside the firewall by integrating 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) technology · SQL Anywhere Studio Database
