By PDAStreet.com Staff Handango is holding the Handango Partner Summit this week San Antonio, Texas from June 12th to 14th to discuss the future of the mobile software economy and market growth strategies. Handango said the event includes executives from the top two hundred mobile software companies, industry Microsoft, Nokia, Palm, Sony, Motorola, Hewlett-Packard, Sendo, QUALCOMM, Cingular Wireless and Sharp Electronics, sponsors of the event. Todd Kort, principal analyst with Garter Dataquest is slated to open the event. Other keynote addresses will be given by Mark Spain, director of ISV services with Microsoft's Mobility Group; Ken Wirt, senior vice president of marketing and product management with Palm Solutions Group and Paul Chellgren, senior vice president of marketing and product management with Nokia. Russell Paik, vice president of product management with Sony and George Bold, engineering manager with Hewlett-Packard will also be presenting at the Summit. Sarah Kim, wireless analyst with The Yankee Group, will close the event Friday morning. According to the software publisher, attendees will witness next-generation product demonstrations and presentations from a group of handpicked presenters including Motorola, QUALCOMM, Sharp Electronics, Cingular Wireless and Pixel Technologies. In addition, attendees will participate in in-depth panel and round table discussions on topics such as marketing best practices, go-to-market strategies, the rise of wireless data services, certification and the proliferation of innovative devices and new form factors. During the Partner Summit, Handango said it would also be presenting the Handango Champion Awards, honoring the best in mobile software. Related Links:
