Belkin, a manufacturer of computer peripherals and accessories, has introduced its new Penlight Stylus ($9.99) for PDAs.

The company cliams the device is perfect for PDA enthusiasts wishing to illuminate their PDA screen while saving their PDA's precious battery life. With a simple turn of the "twist on" power switch, the Belkin Penlight Stylus shines a bright white LED light that the user can direct to their PDA screen when they need extra illumination. The light directed from the Belkin Penlight Stylus helps reduce eyestrain and extends the life of the user's PDA battery by avoiding the heavy power draw from their PDA's backlight settings.

    Better than oem stylus
    I paid 8 or 9 dollars for this stylus. I own an Audiovox Maestro pocket pc. I read that palm3 stylii fit in the audiovox/toshiba slot and it pretty much does(has 4 tips so it should fit most ppcs and palms. The battery is a 3v lithium battery which s...more

    Short lived stylus
    I bought two of these at Best Buy. When I finally got the one to work, it glowed for about two seconds, then died. The other unit didn't work at all. The batteries were strange looking things that looked unlike any I'd ever seen. I'd rather pay m...more
