Using Extended Systems' OneBridge mobile platform, which will interface with the new Mobile Data Service feature of BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the companies said enterprise customers will be able to extend existing legacy applications to BlackBerry handhelds for wireless access. They claim field service workers, mobile sales forces, customer relationship managers and healthcare professionals are among those who could benefit from this collaboration.
