Extended Systems' Syncs PDAs with Latest Notes & Domino

Extended Systems announced today at Lotusphere 2003 that the upcoming new release of XTNDConnect Server, the company's mobile data management and synchronization solution for mobile devices, will support Lotus Notes and Domino 6.

Among other features to be announced early next month, the company said the next version of XTNDConnect Server will provide enhanced security features for mobile users connecting to the Domino platform, including the ability to authenticate using "More Secure" passwords. The software is also slated to provide enhanced group-scheduling features that will enable Palm device users using Lotus Notes to view attendees and meeting rooms. The software already gives Pocket PC and RIM users this functionality.

XTNDConnect Server with support for Lotus Notes Domino 6 is scheduled to be available in early February. List price is $125 per seat based on a 100-user license.
