By James Miller Pumatech, a provider of synchronization software, is introducing its new MobileXtension for Lotus Notes software at this week's Lotusphere 2003 conference. The company said MobileXtension, a plug-in for Pumatech's Satellite Forms MobileApp Designer and Enterprise Intellisync Server software, extends Lotus Domino and Notes data to Palm OS and Pocket PC 2002 handhelds. According to Pumatech, MobileXtension complements its Satellite Forms MobileApp Designer software, Pumatech's visual application development environment for Palm OS and Pocket PC 2002 handhelds. The company said MobileXtension allows developers to import custom forms from Lotus Notes documents directly into Satellite Forms, and to generate mobile applications that integrate with Domino and Notes. MobileXtension also works with Pumatech's Enterprise Intellisync Server software to enable direct synchronization between Satellite Forms applications and Notes/Domino databases. Pricing for MobileXtension for Lotus Notes begins at $55 per licensed user (minimum quantity is 10 users). Related Links:
