Sony has released a system software patch for the CLIE PEG-NX70V & PEG-NX60.

According to the company, the patch, which is available on the Sony website, delivers the following:

--Compatibility with external Memory Stick Adapters for Memory Stick media that was formatted with a PEG-NX**
--Improves low battery issues with the Communications Card
--Improves Communications Card reconciliation
--Improves ATRAC3 Audio sound quality
--Improves power-up issues involving Memory Stick media and the Communications Card
--Improves MP3 playback for 96kbps encoded MP3 files
