Small Device Technologies of Asia is offering a new application launcher, ForCE ($5), for Pocket PC 2002 handhelds. The company said ForCE integrates all Pocket Pocket PC navigation, flash card and extended memory support, TAB view and list View, and theme management, as well as providing a better method for launching the applications.


Yet another online application store for handhelds has opened. Soft2Buy's software store includes Palm OS, Pocket PC, Smartphone, and Symbian OS applications. Besides a variety of software platforms, it also offers software products from different functional areas, including Business, Communications, Database Add-ons, Desktop & Shell, Docs & eBooks, Educational, Enhancements, Games, Language & Reference, Medical & Health, Multimedia & Graphics, Science, Sports, Travel, Utilities, etc.
UTrackSys.com's UTS Weight for Palm OS helps users track body weight and BMI (Body Mass Index). It offers various weight loss/gain plans, interactive charts, reports, and the ability to export data to the UTS database and to Microsoft Excel through a conduit. Version 1.2 adds support for weight interactive report creation and the ability to export data to the MemoPad.


Handmark, a publisher of software for Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices, has signed a content publishing agreement with Sprint to provide games that can be downloaded wirelessly through PCS Vision to PCS Vision Smart Devices, such as the new PCS Smart Device Treo 600 by Handspring.

Currently eleven titles from Handmark will be available for purchase, including Monopoly, Scrabble, Warfare Incorporated, Yahtzee, Battleship, MobileDB, and others. Titles will cost between $10 and $30 and once purchased are added to the customer’s PCS invoice.


Mastersoft's financial management application Mastersoft Money 4.09 ($19.95) is now available in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. To choose a language, simply click the flag on the start up screen. Mastersoft Money is a self-contained app that doesn't require a desktop counterpart. It is compatible with Pocket PCs and a number of Symbian-based smartphones.


E-spaces Digger ($5.95) is the first of six new mobile phone games the company plans to offer. The game, which is compatible with Nokia 3650, 6600, 7650 and Nokia N-Gage handsets, is a re-make of the arcade game from the 80s. You play with the games namesake, a motorized Digger that something like a small tractor, which moves around on the game field, collecting emeralds and gold.
