PDA accessory vendor Styrite USA has entered the North American market with the launch of an online store to hawk its wares. Styrite products include car chargers, a variety of styli, and a Combo Package that includes a multi function stylus pen, screen protector, cleaning cloth, and a retractable USB syncing and charging cable for $25.
Buy the popular Palm OS launcher SilverScreen III by PocketSensei ($25) from Handango before November 1 and the software retailer will throw S.S. Themeliner with three themes to customize your SilverScreen interface for free.

Toysoft's Palm OS compression utility, LightNzip ($15), is now compatible with the WinZip desktop application with version 2.1. So files that are zipped with LightNzip can now be unzipped on a PC. In addition, with SnapperMail, LightNzip can now receive and send zip files and open zip files in their native formats. Other new features include that ability for files to be launched within a zipped file without extracting them first, and Exchange Manager support to send files, such as a JPG, directly to the application that supports it, such as a photo application on the Zire 71 and Tungsten T3.

Inventop Bluetooth-based ProximityMail application is now compatible with Anycom's Bluetooth CompactFlash Card. ProximityMail is a collaborative communications application for Bluetooth PDAs. The company claims it facilitates community building, professional networking, and relationship building wherever groups of people are gathered for tradeshows, conferences, ballgames, coffee places, etc. Users can create and subscribe to groups, as well as broadcast or send private messages. This can all be done anonymously should they choose too.

Tame Game has released a new puzzle game for the Palm OS called Trivalon ($14.40). In this game all you have to do is form sequences of three similar elements in a tube that is dropping the elements from both sides. In spite of the simple rules, the company said excellent results are achieved only with a good long-term strategy. The game's interface can be changed and the the game's field view can be altered with skins. The are also five game modes and detailed statistics.

WordSmith, the excellent Palm OS word processor from Bule Nomad, has been updated to handle the full extended display of the Palm Tungsten T3.
