Palm Zire 21 Review
This was the first PDA I have owned, and it has worked flawlessly. It has taken a fair amount of abuse as well, and it always worked when needed. Good interface with the PC based software, and no loss of data when linking. The display can be hard to read at times and it has limited features. But if your are looking for a basic PDA with address, contact and planning features, this is a good value.

I love it when it works. . .
I absolutely love the Zire 21. . .when it works. According to Palm, there is a problem that when a nearby cell phone rings, the memory wipes out. Mine also quite responding to the stylus. After trying 2 different units, I gave up and returned it. I'm now in the market for a new PDA. Unfortunately, everything else is more expensive and more power than what I need.

beware the crash
I purchased a Zire 21 three weeks ago, and it just crashed on me. It restarted itself to the initial setup screen and I lost all of my data. There was no way the restart button was pushed. A co-worker of mine also experienced the same unexplainable data loss. I'm returning mine. If you decide to get one, back up FREQUENTLY! Thank goodness I'd backed mine up that afternoon. But I will be buying a different PDA now.
