MagicCab ($10) from Inventop is a CAB viewer that allows users to extract binary files and registry information from any Pocket PC CAB file. The company said it helps Pocket PC users with maintenance to stay in control of frequent application installations. Software Developers can use MagicCab to know what and where files are installed and to see registry modifications.
Toysoft's myAlbum 2.0 ($15) is a ARM native JPG photo viewer for Palm OS 5 and higher. myAlbum displays native JPG pictures from external cards such as SD/MMC, Compact Flash and Memory Stick, and there is no conversion or desktop application required. It includes thumbnail viewing, and can beam and send pictures to other devices or other applications. Users can also rename pictures, add custom notes, run a slide show and zoom.


To address the challenges and opportunities that eBooks pose for libraries, publishers and technologists, the Open eBook Forum, the electronic publishing industry’s trade association, will conduct the “eBooks in the Public Library Conference”, a day-long event scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, 2004 in New York City. As of now, all programs support high resolution devices with color 320 x 320 screens and Palm OS 5 and higher. In addition, the software is compatible with new Handspring Treo 600. Astraware's has updated its game Noah's Ark ($15) for the Palm OS, a conversion of the PopCap Web game. The new version brings all new graphics, a musical score and a new set of puzzles and twists. In the game, the Ark is built and its just started raining, but there are still hundreds of animals to bring on board. Can you fill the ark with pairs of animals in time?
