Good Technology and PrinterOn plan to co-market wireless printing and faxing solutions for GoodLink, Good’s messaging and data product.
The agreement aims to promote PrinterOn’s wireless printing and faxing solutions to enterprises with mobile field forces powered by the GoodLink wireless corporate messaging system. The companies said GoodLink with PrinterOn enables users to automatically search for nearby PrinterOn networked printers and print color or black and white hard copies of documents or e-mails.
Good’s GoodLink enables cradle-free, real-time, synchronized access to Microsoft Exchange and other enterprise data systems. The Good Enterprise System product suite, which includes GoodLink, consists of software and services that run on a variety of devices, networks and platforms. Goods technology and services compete directly with Research In Motion’s BlackBerry solutions, resulting in legal wrangling between the two companies.
