Handango today announced it is extending its international reach to Chinese markets, as Handango's application management and provisioning platform, Handango AMPP, now supports Chinese end-user interfaces, Chinese software applications and transactions in China Yuan Renminbi (CNY), Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and Taiwan New Dollars (TWD). Handango said it has leveraged these new capabilities to launch Chinese language sites at (Traditional Chinese) or (Simplified Chinese).

According to the company, users can try, purchase and download Traditional and Simplified Chinese localized software ranging from productivity-boosting applications to full- color games. The two software stores currently provide users with more than 150 applications with localized descriptions. Handango said it is also working with its more than 8,000 software partners to increase the number of localized applications by offering free localization services for a limited time for selected applications.
