Looking for a replacement stylus for your Palm or Handspring Visor handheld, then try Landware's Floating Point Stylus, which is absolutely the best stylus we've used at Palm Boulevard.

Not only is the Floating Point Stylus comfortable to hold, featuring a stainless steel shaft, the very tip of it depresses when you write, which surprisingly mimic's writing on paper. In addition, we found that writing on a Palm m515, using CIC's Jot, was quicker and more accurate.

Another advantage of the pressure-sensitive tip is screen protection, which varies the pressure put on a display depending on the user, taking into account that people write differently. The result is a stylus that protects PDA screens from the scratches and damage associated with traditional ridged styli when people press to hard.

Like a lot of replacement styli, the reset pin is located in the body of the stylus, however, we found that the tip of the floating point stylus worked just as well as a reset pin, so there's no need to open it up when your PDA crashes or freezes.

The Floating Point Stylusis available for the Palm III, Palm VII, Palm V and m500 Series, IBM WorkPad, TRGpro, HandEra 330, Symbol SPT1500, IBM WorkPad as well as all the Handspring Visor series. Pricing varies depending on model, but ranges from $9.95 to $13.95. While the price may seem a little steep, especially when you can get standard styli replacements in three packs for around the same price, once you've tried the Floating Point Stylus, you'll never want to go back.
