SYWARE, a developer of database tools, has been chosen to participate in the Microsoft Mobility Partner Advisory Council (MPAC), which Microsoft said it formed to provide a feedback mechanism for development of its mobile platforms and to provide new technical, marketing, and business development support to companies making investments and inroads in the mobility space.

SYWARE is the developer of Visual CE, a database development toolset for Windows Powered devices, and mEnable, an software architecture for real-time wireless access to server data. The company said its software is used in a wide range of application environments, from sales force automation to inventory management to patient tracking, in small to medium enterprises as well as Fortune 500 corporations.

“The Mobility Partner Advisory Council was created to bring together people and resources that encourage new mobile technologies, applications, and services,” said Mary Rose Becker, Group Marketing Manager for the Mobile Devices division at Microsoft. “SYWARE plays a key role in that effort as a leading developer of software tools that extend the reach of enterprise data to mobile professionals. We are pleased to support its development efforts.”
