System Software Update for Hiptop/Sidekick

Danger has released the first system software update for the hiptop, which is also known as the T-Mobile Sidekick. The Sidekick includes Internet browsing, e-mail, AOL Instant Messenger , two-way text messaging, games, a QWERTY keyboard and a digital camera. It all runs on T-Mobile's nationwide GPRS network.

The software update, version 1.01, is sent over-the-air to Sidekick users. It offers a number of improvements, just a few include increasing the number of e-mail folders that can be created, links at the bottom of messages now contain icons, and in the Web Browser, Clear History now also clears Recent Pages.
