LandWare has released the GoType! Pro keyboard ($69.95) for Hewlett-Packard's iPAQ Pocket PCs. The new keyboard is compatible with 3800, 3900 and 5000 Series models. The GoType! Series of keyboards are among the most popular portable keyboards for PDAs.
The new GoType! Pro for iPAQ weighs less than 12 ounces and measures 10 x 4 x 1.5 inches. No batteries are required as it uses a minimal amount of the iPAQ's power directly. Unlike other portable keyboards, the GoType! is rigid with a single piece design, which some users prefer to the foldable designs, which though they tend to fold into full-size keyboards, are not necessarily the easiest devices to use on one’s lap.
