Cardo Systems to Debut Bluetooth Headset at CTIA

Pittsburgh's Cardo Systems plans to announce a new wireless Bluetooth headset called allways at next weeks CTIA show in New Orleans.

According to the company, allways is the first Bluetooth headset that offers both an eyeglass clip-on mechanism and a flexible ear loop. In addition, users can continue using their old mobile phones because optional allways adapters render them Bluetooth capable. The company also said allways, which comes in multiple colors, works with Bluetooth enabled PDAs and smartphones.

allways is configured with a rechargeable Li-Polymer battery for up to 5 hours of talk-time and up to 75 hours standby. allways also includes noise cancellation technology, a mute button, and offers speech/audio and multifunction activation for receiving, initiating and terminating calls.

Cardo Systems has not yet announced details on pricing and availability for allways.
