Rebate on WiFi Card for Sony CLIE NX Series & NZ90

Sony is making a $50 rebate available for its CompactFlash WiFi cards, the Sony CLIÉ PEGA-WL100 and PEGA-WL110 wireless LAN cards ($150). The rebate, which is good until May 3rd, is for the PEG-NX60, PEG-NX70V and PEG-NZ90 CLIE models, which have CompactFlash slots.

One complaint folks have had about these slots is that they are only compatible with these WiFi cards and not with other CompactFlash peripherals and memory cards. This is because Sony wants its CLIE customers to use its own Memory Stick media as a means of adding memory to these devices. Recently, Soft Pocket Solutions announced it would be addressing the issue of using the CLIE CompactFlash slot for memory with drivers expected to available by April.
