Good Technology today announced it is releasing a beta version of its GoodLink Server software for the upcoming Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.

The compnay said the new release of the GoodLink wireless messaging system extends Good Technology's support for Microsoft Exchange Server platform to use the increased performance of Exchange 2003.

According to Good, GoodLink is an always up-to-date, cradle-free system for wirelessly connecting mobile workers to enterprise e-mail and personal information stored in Exchange. The GoodLink System enables mobile access to Exchange-based data from a wider range of wireless handhelds, such as RIM 950, RIM 957 and Good G100 wireless handhelds. Support for Pocket PC and Palm OS handhelds is slated for later this year.

The "GoodLink for Exchange Server 2003" beta is available to Exchange 2003 beta customers for testing. Good and Research In Motion have an ongoing legal feud over their wireless technologies.
