T-Mobile is now offering Handspring's Treo 270 smartphone.

The dual band GSM/GPRS Treo 270 is delivered on T-Mobile's GET MORE service. It features wireless applications like email and Internet browsing, and is a Palm OS organizer. The Treo 270 also has built-in QWERTY keyboard that is backlit and its rechargeable lithium ion battery specs out to up to three hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. It has a 33MHz processor, 16MB of RAM and only a 4,000 color display.

The Treo 270 is available through T-Mobile for $399.99 after a $100 rebate with activation of qualified voice or data plans. Cingular also offers the Treo 270 but only with GSM support.

Palm recently released its answer to the Treo Communicator with the Tungsten W.
