Good Technology today announced a new consulting services business.

The company said Good Consulting Services includes mobile system strategy and planning, mobile application design and development, mobile system installation and integration, IT and end-user training, and ongoing developer support.

The services build upon Good's GoodLink wireless corporate messaging system and the GoodInfo wireless information system for accessing Web-enabled data sources. According to Good, its Good Consulting Services group is already actively engaged at more than 15 enterprises, including Keesal Young & Logan, a Professional Corporation; Robins & Morton; and Summit Electric Supply. These companies chose Good Consulting Services to accelerate the delivery of custom mobile applications

In related news, Good and PensEra Knowledge Technologies are offering a new mobile solution that enable attorneys to capture billable hours and leverage current information from mobile devices.

As a result, the comapnies said an attorney can use a wireless handheld to quickly jot-down a note about a case, a practice approach or business opportunity whenever the occasion arises and the information is wirelessly entered into the firm's internal systems.

The GoodLink wireless e-mail and data system transmits the information to the PensEra TimeKM Knowledge Funnel system back at the firm. The TimeKM Knowledge Funnel routes the information as appropriate to other lawyers who can act on this new intelligence or to the firm's internal billing system that captures billable hours.
