Medical e-learning company for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries MedCases is partnering with Unbound Medicine, a provider of knowledge management systems for the healthcare industry, to offer the MedCases Medical Librarian.

According to the companies, the MedCases Medical Librarian will provide users a Web-based interface that integrates with Unbound Medicine's medical literature search services. These services provide the user with the ability to search the National Library of Medicine's PubMed database, which includes MEDLINE, and publisher supplied citations. It will also provide users with up-to-date medical literature and can serve as a complement to MedCases' Web-based, medical education programs.

In the future, portions of the MedCases Medical Librarian are slated be delivered to Palm OS and Pocket PC devices via CogniQ, Unbound Medicine's mobile knowledge management platform.
