iambic today unveiled AllTime 4, iambic's single-user time and expense tracking application for the Palm OS.

AllTime is designed to assist handheld users with billing clients, and keeping track of time, expenses and mileage – in and out of the office. According to the company, the new version has been optimized to support Palm OS 5 and has an improved user interface.

iambic said an extensive linking support feature allows users to link validation lists to one another, and the time, expense and auto-log entry panels automatically fill as soon as the user picks the first item. For detailed expense tracking, customizable rate rule support is available. The company said the program also offers new overviews to increase reporting accuracy and awareness.

The Day View allows users to immediately identify gaps of time in need of entries. The Cross Tab View totals the time entries for the selected day and week, and shows the overall totals for the current day and week.

The application costs $39.95 and is a free for all AllTime 3.x users who purchased the product on or after January 1. For all other AllTime iambic customers, the upgrade is priced at $19.95.
