Handmark, according to data from NPD Intelect for retail software sales in the first quarter of 2003, held the number-one retail PDA software spot.

Handmark also ended the last quarter of 2002 in the same number-one spot. NPD said the ranking is based on actual retail sales revenue as reported by 80% of the nations leading software retailers and includes online packaged software sales by those retailers.

Handmark Pocket PC and Palm OS software includes entertainment and productivity applications. According to NPD, about one in every five retail dollars spent on PDA software went to Handmark published titles.

Handmark's best selling titles include Rand McNally StreetFinder, Rand McNally Road Atlas, PDA Bible, SCRABBLE and MONOPOLY games, the Handmark 4.0 Student planner software, Tetris Classic Game Pack, and PocketMoney.
