Handspring: forgetting an entire market!
I reallllly think Handspring is abandoning an entire market segment. I became completely addicted to my Deluxe in '02. Had to move on to the Prism - still use it a thousand times a day. Thing is: Entry Level. These devices are profoundly productive. But as well as PDA's sell, there are TONS of people out there not in this market yet - many of whom need entry level models to ease them into the "addiction". Sorry Handspring, you seriously missed the boat. (I'm going to Palm now.) ...rich...

Who care's?
No offence, but why are you lamenting that there are only three PDAs left on the market with monochrome screens? If you want to live in the dark ages, be my guest. I say good riddance! And just because the market has moved to color doesn't mean there are no longer PDAs with removable batteries. Many Pocket PC devices have removable rechargeable battery packs. Why PalmOS licensees haven't followed this path is a mystery to me.As for Handspring...they've made their bed. I feel no sympathy for this company whatsoever.

Unfortunate
it is quite unfortunate that handspring has chosen to cease development and production of the Visor. Having used a Deluxe for about 2 1/2 years now, I find it to be one of the most useful and reliable electronic devices I've ever had. I am more than a little irritated I won't beable to find many Springboard modules now either. What to do...?
