By PDAStreet.com Staff Wireless Security vendor Certicom has signed on six new partners to the Certicom Partner Network, a program the company said enables security-focused value-added resellers and large carriers with security divisions to complement their product portfolios with Certicom handheld security solutions. The new partners include: iGov.com (U.S.), Phoenix Systems Corp (U.S), Savoir Technology, Inc. (Lithia Springs, Georgia), Cryptonet SpA (Italy), Network Technology Inc. (Japan), and nexera OEG (Austria). "As our government clients rollout wireless networks we see an increase in the demand for proven security products that work on constrained devices," said Bill Moore, VP Technical Services, iGov.com. "Until recently, clients would treat security as a minor feature, ticking it off their checklist far too quickly. As clients become more knowledgeable about security risks, they want a stronger, sophisticated solution. We found those attributes in the movian security applications. Certicom's products, technical knowledge and support, coupled with our expertise, allow us to meet our customers' demands." Certicom products include movianMail for email, movianVPN for network access, movianCrypt to secure data on mobile devices, and movianDM, centralized configuration and policy management utility for movianMail and movianVPN.
