OverDrive plans to exhibit new Adobe Reader and DRM technologies, a collection of digital book products from over 150 U.S. and international publishers, and a system for lending digital audio book titles, at the American Library Association / Canadian Library Association Annual Meeting in Toronto from June 21-24.

According to OverDrive, its Digital Library systems are designed to serve patrons remotely from a library's website with seamless integration into the library's catalog and automation services. In addition to support for libraries to lend audio books, the company's technology also offers self-service systems for patrons to checkout and return Adobe PDF and Palm Reader eBook titles using their own PCs and Palm OS or Pocket PC PDAs.

The company claims it has the large collection of popular titles through Content Reserve, its clearinghouse of best-selling eBooks from leading publishers, and offers libraries the ability to build open collections of eBooks, documents, articles and other media from local and archived sources.
