New Palm Treo
Geat to know the new treo 600 is coming. I always wished if we could get Qtec/iPaq resolution in Treo 270. At present it is rather difficult to read ebooks on Treo. Expansion slot too is welcome. Camera with suitable OCR will be very welcome additional tool for productivity enhancement.

RE: Hawkins & Palm OS
This is great news. I have been a longtime fan of
Palm and Handspring, they are the true innovators of handhelds, not PocketPC and the other brands.

It would be interesting to see if Jeff Hawkins will have a chance to make improvements to Palm OS 5 and 6(?) before Palmsource gets spun off from the company. It seems that Hawkins has always wanted to make improvements to the Palm OS but being at Handspring made this impossible. Now Palm will absorb Handspring while spinning off Palmsource, so the timing will be crucial for Hawkins. Will Jeff get to work on his OS again? Anyone have ideas about this?
