Speech interface company Fonix has announced a version of its speech recognition solution VoiceDial for Windows Powered Smartphones.

According to Fonix, the software enables users to place calls by speaking a phone number or contact name. In addition, the company claims there's no voice training required, so the application can be used as soon as it’s installed on a phone.

Fonix VoiceDial has been certified through the Designed for Windows for Smartphone Logo Program. Fonix VoiceDial supports the following devices: Orange SPV, Orange SPV E100, Mitac Mio 8380 and red e SC1100. It costs $14.95.
