Intermec Names Dexterra to Honors Partner Program

Intermec Technologies has named Dexterra to its Honors Partner Program. Dexterra supplies field force automation applications and a mobile enterprise platform built on the Microsoft.NET Compact Framework.

According to the companies, Dexterra offers a suite of field force automation applications and mobile enterprise platforms for Intermec 700 Series mobile computers, as well as tool sets that enable Intermec resellers and customers to quickly build mobile applications that integrate with Intermec devices.

"The combination of the Intermec 700 and Dexterra's innovative field force automation approach, provides a fast return on investment for companies who want to get their mobile workers up and running quickly and easily," said Rod Crane, Intermec vice president of channel partner sales. "The complementary technologies of Intermec and Dexterra make any customization requirement simple and fast to implement at the device level, resulting in better mobile business applications."

About the Intermec 760
The color Intermec 760 Pocket PC integrates three radios that support wireless local area networks (LAN) via 802.11b, personal area networks (PAN) via Bluetooth, and wide area networks (WAN) via either GPRS or CDMA. The device also offers integrated imager options to read 1D and 2D bar codes and supports photography applications, including signature capture.
