Thunderhawk Browser Supports More Pocket PCs

Bitstream has upgraded its ThunderHawk Pocket PC Web browser to version 1.08, adding support for more handhelds.

This release adds support for all members of the Hewlett-Packard iPAQ family, including the h1900, h2200, and h5000 series, for the new Toshiba e350 device, and for supported devices now running the new Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 operating system.

ThunderHawk does a good job of bringing the desktop Web browsing experience to mobile device users. It allows Pocket PCs, which typically have a 320x240 color LCD screen, to display a SVGA (800x600) or VGA (640x480) screen of a Web page.

ThunderHawk is available for a free 30-day trial and for purchase by monthly or annual subscription. ThunderHawk is also available as a client-server solution for wireless Web browsing across enterprise networks.
