Handango has announced the winners of the Handango's People's Choice awards. Back in July, the handheld application marketplace gave the Handango Champion Awards, which were based on the judgment of editors.

The winners of the People's Choice awards were determined over the course of several months by Handango customers, who cast their votes for their favorite J2ME, Symbian OS, Palm OS and Pocket PC applications. The developer of each winning application receives marketing promotions from Handango with a value in excess of $5,000.
