The International Digital Publishing
Forum (formally the Open eBook Forum), the trade and standards
association for the eBook industry, has released its October 2005 eBook
Bestseller List.
While its no New York Times Bestseller List, the tally
is a god way to see what folks who choose to read books on their PDAs,
smartphones, eBook readers and PCs are buying and even borrowing.
International Digital Publishing Forum says bestsellers are
calculated by aggregate unit sales from reporting retailers and
distributors, including eReader.com,
Fictionwise and OverDrive, a company that helps
libraries setup eBook loaning systems.
