dont buy
I wish I never bought this. It never syncs well with my mac, it loses the sync, I had it replaced more than once and they send you someone else's refurbished lemon when they replace it. So basically it's only a heavy phone with a poor imitation of the internet for $110 a month. Even though I was stuck with a two year contract, i bought an iphone and LOVE it. It does everything, everything this thing would love to do and includes wi-fi, many places which are free, which the treo doesn't have. The monthly cost for service is about half the price of the verizon/treo rip off. And you don't have instant fun with a real ipod attached like an iphone. Oh yes and the real internet and googlemaps instantly which the treo did so slowly. Don't waste your money.

Un userfriendly phone treo 700!
I wish I did not buy this phone. For someone like me who was looking to make my life easier, I have found the instructions poor and not related to the use of the phone!
PLEASE SOMEONE WRITE A MANUAL FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT INTO COMPUTERS!

Not So Great Folks?
Freezes Up All The Time, Lag Time Switching Between Applications, Blue Tooth Truly Sux's. Palm Needs To Release An Update Very Quickly, Or They Will Loose Lots Of 700P Customers.

Best Treo yet!
Though it still doesn't have a flash for the camera, and once in a while gets locked in a rest loop, I just love my Treo 700P. The data connection is much faster, and with Pocket Tunes Deluxe, streaming audio is a reality. If you want to watch your own vidios, a better version of Kimona is available which plays MP4 and WMA formats. The new blazer browser is more functional than the one that came with the Treo 600, and even suports JAVA. If you are on the road and find frequent need to send email with picture attachments, the integration is great, but takes a while to get used to it. Documents to Go which comes with the phone deals with native PDF, Excel, and Word documents which can be downloaded duing a sync, or shoved on a smart card with a usb card reader. This is great when studying material for an exam because your study materials are always at hand. When Documents to Go detected my Chinese helper program, it even downloaded the Chinese fonts as well. Off line readers like Advantgo and Mobile Play let you read articles froma variety of newspapers and magazines during your down time. Like a pair of glasses, the Treo 700P is my constant companion

I Switched To The Treo 700p From The 6700
I actually owned a Sprint PPC-6700 before owning my Treo 700p. I think Mobile Windows 5.0 is a little more solid as a OS but the 6700 did not have compatibility with Sprint's picture mail system so I switched to the Treo. The 6700 never crashed on me unlike the Treo but I can live with a few random resets.

Far better then expected w/one exception
I got one of the first phones to reach the greater Milwaukee area. I was calling the store to see if they had received any 700P’s yet when the UPS truck arrived with 3 on board. I got their first an hour latter. The phones hadn’t even been checked in yet. The phone works great and the EDVO is incredible!! I was downloading a file attachment and it read that it was coming in at over 900 kb/s, a 2 MB picture file in just seconds. I’ve had some problems with an SD card but it’s because I screwed it up. The biggest drawback is that it doesn’t include voice-dialing. This is my third palm smart phone and the only without voice-dialing built in.. I’ve downloaded a program but it is no ware as good as the built-in voice-dialing on my I500 from Samsung.
