Blah, Blah, Blah
Hey PDA Street Editors....just give the guy a free ad and get it over with.

1. There has not been a single demonstrated 'attack' against a mobile device. The only thing that was close was the famous 'Paris Hilton Sidekick' episode, and the attackers revealed that they got the info from T-Mobile's data center, not from the device itself.
2. Corporate email requires (now say it with me kids) AUTHENTICATION before you can access the server. If an IT administrator is allowing access to corporate email without authentication, then they should be flipping burgers and not managing servers.
3. Lost devices - hmmmm, since devices are just a commodity anyway, how many people have reported a network compromise or loss of corporate data after leaving their PDA/Smartphone in a cab? Are they ticked because they have to replace the device? In a word, yes. Has there been a report of someone finding the device, connecting to the corporate network, and manipulating the financials? In a word, noooooooo.

I have said it before....education of the user is the best and only effective defense.
