THA SERVICE IS AWFUL
Wats going on everyone.... The sidekick 3 is cool and has its perks to it... I upgraded from a sidekick 2 bcuz of a sturdier keypad... As of lately tha service on my 3 is horrible...... Its prepaid so I only use it for data really.... As you may know for the data, u need a G to correspond.... First it starts off with 1 dot then 2 and then all of a sudden goes into the phone icon and then the phone icon becomes clear and u can't do anything... I tried everything and the same thing keeps happening.. I toggle on and off, took the battery out... wat more is there to do... Has this happened to anyone else....

waste of money
I've had my SK3 since Christmas, and wish I'd have gotten the Dash or Blackberry. I can barely hear the speakerphone, the pics are horrible, no SMS messaging capability, no video capability, downloadable ringtones are limited with NO classic rock and bad RnB selections, the headset echoes on the other end, applications for download are limited and generic, its bulky, I can't hear it ring in a medium noise environment, dialing out is a chore, the web freezes constantly, mp3 player only good with headphones or it can barely be heard. Other than that, I like the keyboard and its finally Fave5 compatable. But more applications like Word, Excel, Outlook, and a FlashPlayer would make it better and more usable for business. Sure, I can IM at all times, but I don't really use that feature much since text messaging is easy. The email is nice, but every handheld does that. If your name is Paris Hilton it might be perfect for you, but if you are a broker as I am, stay away....far, far away!

LUV MY SIDEKICK 3
I love my sidekick three phone. I used it for everything, emails, pictures, and talking. I don't think I will be needing another phone in a good while. So the bad reviews that the phone is getting isn't exactly true. Compared to what's out there Sidekick 3 is the hottest phone out.

Sidekick 3 business
I've had no problems with my sidekick 3. This is the second one I've had because my first one was damaged in a car accident and the screen started freezing and cutting off. However my new one is wonderful and for business the thing i like the most is that with my old phones...lose the phone, lose the contacts. well my sidekick automatically backs those up to a server and downloads them the instant i put my password and screen name in it, so as you can see that would definently be important for business. as for the camera I've found that the pics are really clear when I don't have the flashlight set to automatic. I usually leave the flash on unless the area is already really bright. I've yet to experience a dropped call, and I'm a songwriter and composer able to write into my phone new songs and also save copies of completed work for others to hear .... right from the device! I don't know what everyone else thinks but the only thing I think could make it better is the ability to play flash animations or streaming TV.

not worth the $400
First off, with a 2yr contract, through t-mobile, I paid $400 - not $250. secondly, this phone is terrible. Sure, the CS reps are friendly, but I was told I'd have great reception in Orlando - and I don't. The screen constantly freezes/shakes, although I've never dropped the phone. The plans for the SK terrible. It's extremely expensive just to run this phone. I had reasons for buying it other than the fact that it "looked cool," but I'm about to switch providers and purchase a regular phone.

Sidekick 3
I have the Sidekick 3 and this article doesn't completely ring a bell. I love my Sidekick 3. The camera and everything work really well. All are clear, etc. I've had no problems.

SO-SO
I don't think the manufactures of the SK3 had business men and women in mind. This phone isn't really for organizing and keeping up with the busy lives of working people. The SK3 was designed for the texting generation. The celebrities like it, the teens like it. It's a great phone if you want to look cool, text all day, and not pay too much for unlimited texting, but that's about all it's good for.
