By James Alan Miller
Specifically, Palm's Windows Mobile Team says: "Our commercial launch of the WinMo 6 update for those already using the AT&T Treo 750 is just around the corner." Palm has even started taking orders for the Treo 750 with Windows Mobile 6 pre-installed for multi-unit business orders. Enhancements brought to the Treo 750 with Windows Mobile 6 include better calendar management with an improved user interface; better e-mail messaging, HTML/Smart Filtering, SharePoint access, etc.; and support for voice commands via Bluetooth and USB cable charging. There are also much-improved mobile equivalents to Microsoft's Office applications. When Palm and AT&T finally make the update available, keep in mind you will not be able to revert back to Windows Mobile 5.0 once it is installed. So do not install this upgrade if you use RIM's Blackberry Connect on your Treo 750, as Windows Mobile 6 doesn't support that mobile messaging service. Related Links:
